Ottawa, capital of Ontario and Canada

Ottawa is a beautiful city with splendid buildings and masses of open spaces with lots of wide pathways for cycling, skateboarding and walking, plus a wide canal running through its middle to reach the Ottawa River through a long series of locks. Hopefully, these pictures will give some sense of the city's beauty.

Algonquin
To the northwest of Ottawa lies the Algonquin Provincial Park, a wild unspoilt land of forest, rivers and lakes. The park is  hardly touched by human hand, and is just as it has been for hundreds of years.
